Remember my blog post from last Monday-the SisBoom Tortola?
Today, SisBoom releases the girls' version-TOBAGO!
Basically, same deal as the women's.
Only four pattern pieces: front, back, front facing, and back facing.
Literally takes 30 minutes to cut and sew.
Size range: 3-6 months to 13/14 years.
The neckline has two options: scoop or scoop with a slit.
All sizes are an easy slip over the head but sizes 3/6 months through 3/4 have a back slit with ribbon to make it easier for babies. We all know how frustrated kids can be if the shirt too hard to get on.
Tortola and Tobago are perfect patterns for beginner sewists.
The shirt is cut on the bias for a nice drape. It can also be lengthened for a dress or made with knit.
Ali Cat really adores her shirt. That is rare these days. She's changed her style of frufru dresses to shirt and short leggings. Certainly makes my life easier.
I did NOT cut this shirt on the bias. I didn't think the ponies would appreciate being on a slope.
Works out just fine!
Learning how to pose from Momm.
Ali Cat has been begging forever for Spiderman fabric. We finally grabbed a yard.
Tobago seemed like the perfect choice, as a dress of course!
Spidey sense!
We are in the process of buying a house. We were there yesterday during the home inspection.
3 hours of spider entertainment!
