Sew-a-bration of Womanhood is all about the bonding of women and sewing for ourselves.

Boy o' boy do I like sewing for myself. I am the definition of a selfish seamstress.

A few weeks ago, I had to attend a Silver and Gold Cocktail party. I had nothing silver or gold in my closet. That needed to be rectified. I chose Mouse House Creations Caroline Party Dress.

Or rather PAR-TAY dress.

I love this pattern because it fits so well. The princess seams make every figure have sexy curves.

I chose a satin bodice and a sheer black overlay with silver embroidery for the skirt; all lined with black cotton for comfort.

This dress makes me feel sexy and I like feeling sexy.

I think feeling sexy is an important part of a woman.

And you don't have to wear a cocktail dress to feel beautiful. You can totally pull off sexy in pajamas, jeans and t-shirt, or a basic knit dress. It's amazing what a little bit of mascara and lip gloss will do to your attitude.

Also, it's about how you carry yourself. Show your confidence in your womanhood!

Shoulders back, chin up. If you believe you are beautiful, then others will see that too!
