Paisley Roots' All Spice-My Little Pony style

Hello and Happy Day!

Who's in the mood for something new? I get excited to see fresh ideas.

Paisley Roots' designer and owner Karly (winner of Project Run and Play Season 8!)
has a great eye for design and style.
She has just release her second pattern, the All Spice.

You can check out her first pattern-the Saffron.  I also made a knit version and have a tutorial for changing up the neckline.

Willow & Co. Persimmon Dress by Mouse House Creation

The Willow & Co. Collective will be releasing their pattern collection on April 22nd!
In the meantime, check out one more pattern I had the great pleasure of sewing before the release.

The Persimmon Dress by Mouse House Creations.

This fresh and clean design is a summer staple for all girls.
The pin tuck pleats provide a soft touch on the bodice.
*The back has the same appearance as the front*

PRP Favorite Vacation: Bavaria

This week's Project Run and Play theme is Spring Break.
The goal is to create an outfit inspired by your favorite vacation spot.

Oh my!  This was an easy decision.  Bavaria, of course!

We lived in Italy for 2.5 years and made more trips to Munich/Bavaria than any other place.

Here are some of my favorite pictures from our travels.
They make me happy and bring back so many great memories.

E-beth Designs: Lorelei Dress

I just keep getting lucky!
I was selected to test the beautiful E-beth Designs Lorelei Dress.

This sweet circle yoke dress also has a tulle petticoat, fitted bodice with easy to install zipper instructions.  It took me about 5 hours to complete.  That sounds like a long time.  The petticoat adds a little bit of extra time but well worth it!

Just look at her face.  You can tell she loves it.
Anytime she sees it in her closet; she asks to wear her Lorelei.

My Little Plumcake Spring Dress

This child of mine is adorable, prepare yourself for a cuteness overload.

My Little Plumcake is red hot this spring. She has great style, clean lines and what I can
only describe as new designs with a classic look. MLPC patterns are sweet and adorable.
Both of my children like them!

Introducing the MLPC Spring Dress.
It has a lined and fun shaped bodice with a button tab back closure and gathered skirt.
For extra detail, the bottom sides of the skirt, curve up to meet.

I'm a broken record here, but her instructions are very clear and great for beginners.
Pinning the bodice to the skirt requires extra attention to get smooth curves, but the rest is easy peasy sewing.

Cookie Dough wouldn't put Pup down.
Please tell me how FREAKIN' ADORABLE she is!

My Little Plumcake Cordelia Dress

I recently found the Cordelia top by My Little Plumcake. I love the sweetheart design.
(The top is actually on SALE the entire month of February!)

MLPC had a blog post on changing the top to a dress.
Ali likes dresses, so I opted for the single layer dress.

I used Sarah Jane cotton for the top and bottom pieces, and a satin for the middle piece.
I really like the fabric mix up; it brings a bit of pizazz!
